Celebrating 25 years of creativity in the Jeannette Powell Art Center, the Reynolds Gallery is pleased to present Ask Yourself Hard Questions, an exhibition by acclaimed New York鈥揵ased photographer Matthew Septimus. The exhibition鈥檚 title comes from a handwritten protest sign Septimus encountered in Manhattan鈥檚 Zuccotti Park in October of 2011. That demonstration became known as 鈥淥ccupy Wall Street,鈥� and its followers鈥� motto 鈥淲e are the 99%鈥� a unifying cry against income inequality. The exhibition features almost 300 images the artist made as he observed the "many voices converging in public space 鈥� and the energy, tension, and humanity that came with that.鈥�  The show is on view from August 26 to October 11. A public reception and informal artist talk will be held on September 17 from 6 - 8pm.
