Living abroad is both a journey of self-discovery and a step toward career readiness. Internships abroad further enrich your experience. For anyone aspiring to have an international career, the experience of living abroad is essential. 

Pacific鈥檚 study abroad programs are coordinated through the Office of International Program Services in the Bechtel International Center. The study abroad adviser helps you explore available options and ensures programs align with Pacific鈥檚 requirements. While abroad, you can fulfill both major and general education requirements. All earned units count toward graduation.

Model UN

Pacific's Model UN mission is to advance understanding of the United Nations system and contemporary global issues through programs that emphasize collaborative conflict resolution. Each semester, eight Pacific students are invited to apply to be a part of the team. The team represents Pacific at a Model United Nations Conference. Pacific鈥檚 Model UN teams have attended domestic conferences as well as Harvard鈥檚 conferences in Panama City; Taipei, Taiwan and Manila, Philippines.

Graduate works on refugee issues

Since he graduated from Pacific in 2010, Will Castillo Guardado has led an impactful career. While studying international relations at Pacific, he traveled to Japan to study the language. His professional career has taken him to Guatemala and Tajikistan where he worked on refugee and global humanitarian issues.
