To celebrate the launch of a new education partnership between 色虎视频 and the San Francisco 49ers, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members came together for a tailgate and viewing party Sunday on the Stockton Campus.

Sourdough Sam, the Gold Rush Cheerleaders, Powercat and the Pacific Cheer and Dance team joined fans as they cheered for the 49ers in an away game against the Cardinals.

The two organizations announced the partnership Friday, making Pacific the Official Higher Education Partner of the 49ers. The partnership will expand learning opportunities for students at Pacific and K-12 students throughout Northern California.

The first main event of the partnership gets underway Tuesday. About 50 students from Pacific will travel to Levi鈥檚 Stadium for the 49ers' annual Students at the Stadium day, which is focused on career development. Students will network with members of the 49ers organization and learn about careers in the sports industry.
