More than 400 students, faculty, staff and alumni volunteered across San Joaquin County for 色虎视频鈥檚 annual Day of Service, lending their time and energy to local organizations.

From caring for animals at the Stockton Animal Shelter to planting produce at the Edible Schoolyard Project, volunteers partnered with 16 community groups to make a meaningful impact. The event not only supported important local needs but also introduced new students to Pacific鈥檚 values of service, sustainability and connection.

鈥淪ervice is an important tradition to start off the school year because it makes you appreciate the community that you will start to live in for the next years,鈥� said Gloria Kim 鈥�28.

For many, the day was more than just volunteering鈥攊t was an opportunity to engage with the community, meet new people, make friends and take the first steps toward building lasting connections in Stockton and beyond.

鈥淚 hope students take away from this event that they can make friends and interact with students from every major, every year and they can do that through helping our city and community,鈥� said Emilee Andersen 鈥�26.
